South China Agricultural University recruits about 1200 master students and about 200 doctoral students on a yearly basis. The teaching group of postgraduate English is in charge of English courses for Non-English major postgraduate students. Currently the teaching group of postgraduate English is composed of selected teachers from the Department of College English Teaching and the Department of English, most of whom are associate professors or above in professional titles. In this semester, there are two professors, seven associate professors and one lecturer in this group.

The objectives of Postgraduate English teaching are to help students build a solid foundation in academic English listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation, facilitate them in research and prepare them for future academic work.
