From May 27th to June 2nd, the South China Agricultural University - City University of Macao Agricultural Culture Learning and Experience Project was held by SFS successfully held. The project was sponsored by the Ministry of Education and more than 20 teachers and students from SCAU and CUM participated.

As one important part of the project arrangement, Dean Huang Guowen gave a lecture with the title of Agricultural Culture, Rural Culture Revitalization and Ecolinguistics. In the lecture, Prof. Huang Guowen introduced the concept of ecolinguistics and its recent development. He pointed out that the rural culture revitalization strategy proposed by the central government is an important component of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and that ecolinguistic research can play a role. He then elaborated on the connection between ecolinguistic theories and agricultural culture as well as ecological civilization construction.

The lecture was well-received by the visiting CUM teachers and students.
