The Party committee of School of Foreign Studies attaches great importance to the development, cultivation and party spirit education of student party members and carries forward a series of practices and voluntary service activities in themes of Bringing into Play the Progressiveness of Student Party Members and Constructing a Basic-level Service Party Branch. By publicizing, organizing and following up with a series of social practice activities including Secretary Project, Six One Project, College Student Party Members Pay Visit to Difficult Families, Student Party Members Service Community, One to One Study Assistance, the committee tries to give students an in-depth view of current national condition, social situation and public opinions and instructs students to exert their English major strengths through the combination of major advantages and social practice. It has achieved great results in both party spirit cultivation and comprehensive quality promotion. Party committee of School of Foreign Studies pays much attention to cultivate party activists. The Committee has organized the 81st party activist training class in the first half of 2016 with 51 party activists, 16 probationary party members and 22 full party members. The department won one Progressive Party Branch (student) and one Excellent Student Party Member in the anniversary commendation activity in July 1st this year.
