The World Tour Carnival, sponsored by the Communist Youth League Committee of South China Agricultural University and organized by the Youth League Committee and Student Union of School of Foreign Studies, is a biennial activity with features of the School of Foreign Studies for all the teachers and students of South China Agricultural University.

The event is mainly divided into two activity theme areas, namely, world tour exhibition area and service area. The world tour exhibition area is hosted by all classes of the School of Foreign Studies and aims to show the local customs and practices of nearly 30 countries from five continents. The service area is carefully prepared by the four major organizations of the School of Foreign Studies, including the Youth League Committee, Student Union, Party Affairs Office and Work-Study Expanding Association. Students can participate in games, accumulate printings and win exquisite prizes. During all activities, one of the highlight features is that communication in English continues throughout the whole process. The World Tour Carnival aims to provide a platform for students to encounter exotic cultures and enable them to learn from the world’s cultural diversity with an open mind.
