The English Corner, sponsored by the Communist Youth League Committee of South China Agricultural University and organized by Youth League Committee and Student Union of School of Foreign Studies, is a weekly sharing and exchange activity for all the teachers and students of South China Agricultural University.

The English Corner boasts 12 years of history and over 200 activities. Each week, senior professors or foreign teachers are invited as guests to impart English learning experience to the majority of students, which has attracted a large number of English lovers from our own college and other colleges. The theme of each English corner is set according to current social hot topics and students’ focus of attention. The activities are usually divided into Free Talk, Little Speech, Role Play, etc., with which the English learning interest is enhanced and students’ enthusiasm for English learning is stimulated.

The English Corner aims at providing a platform of English exchange and learning for teachers and students, strengthening the cultivation of English application ability and creating an excellent atmosphere for English learning.
