On October18, Dean of the College of Business and Politics Management of the Universityof Canberra Prof.  Lawrence Pratchett, CooperationProgram Director Ms. Jo Asquith and Liaison Teacher Dr. Wei Jianxin visitedSCAU and SFS for possible cooperation.

In themorning, the visitors attended a meeting hosted by Ms. Yuan Juhua, DeputyDirector of the International Office, and negotiated on issues like tuitionreduction, enrollment requirements etc.. Deans and director from the College ofArts, the College of Economics and Management as well as Prof. Chen Yang of SFSalso joined in the talk.

In theafternoon, Prof. Prof. Lawrence Pratchett, Ms. Jo Asquith and Dr. Wei Jianxincame to SFS and met with the students from the Department of BusinessEnglish. Prof. Pratchett demonstrated his lively way of teaching and Dr. Wei introducedthe “2+2” and “3+1” programs in detail and welcomed students to study in theUniversity of Canbarra. Foreign Affairs Secretaries Peng Ying and Qin Jianhuawere also present in the meeting with students.

SFS hasbeen zealously working towards close cooperations in cultivating students withoverseas universities and institutions.
