Professor Michael Reed from University ofKentucky gave a lecture on World Trade Organization on May 18 in Room 5A402 ofthe School of Foreign Studies.

Professor Reed is a professor ofAgricultural Economy as well as Director of Agricultural International ProjectCenter of University of Kentucky. In his lecture, Professor Reed talked aboutthe history, principles and current status quo of WTO, and also ways to solvedisputes in international trade and negotiations. His lecture also covered G-21,advantages of free trade suggested by INRA research results etc.

The lectured broadened the horizons of theaudience.
