Application Reports Writing of National Social Sciences Fund by Prof. Huang Zhonglian from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies

     On January 17, Pearl River Scholar Prof. Huang Zhonglian from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies was invited by SFS to talk about how to select topics and write application reports for National Social Sciences Fund (NSSF). Deputy Dean Li Zhanxi hosted the lecture and Dean Huang Guowen and Secretary Chen Wenyi were present. 7 applicants of NSSF projects and about 20 other teachers in SFS attended the lecture.


    After the applicants introduced their application reports, Prof. Huang Zhonglian made comments on various aspects like the wording and structure of the title, the statements of value and innovation, as well as the selection and prioritization of previous achievements. Prof. Huang gave insightful suggestions to the applicants on how to write concise and impressive application reports.


    Deputy Dean Li Zhanxi called for the applicants to revise their application reports in accordance with Prof. Huang's advice and make contributions to the research work of SFS.
