On the evening of November 24, Chang Shaohua, Deputy Editor-in-chief of Foreign Languages in China gave a lecture in Room 5A607 in the School of Foreign Studies.  The Lectured was chaired by Professor Xiao Haozhang.

           The lecture attracted a large number of teachers from the school. 

     Chang Shaohua talked about issues involved when teachers wanted to contribute to this journal. He pointed out the steps to follow when writing a draft and common mistakes and errors that he had observed as an editor. He also anaylized the trend in topic selection in the fields of teaching research, translation research and second language acquisition etc.
