The Centre for Ecolinguistics of SCAU Commended by “The Routledge Handbook of Ecolinguistics”

Foundedin January 2016 and under the leadership of Prof. Huang Guowen, the Centre forEcolinguistics (CE) of South China Agricultural University (SCAU) has achieveda lot (see http://202.116.162.11/en/rese/220.html for detailedlists of its major projects and publications). The Centre’s achievements are soprominent that it is commended twice in “The Routledge Handbook ofEcolinguistics”, which was edited by Alwin Fill and‎ Hermine Penz and to be publishedin 2018.

Whencommenting on the research done by Chinese scholars in ecolinguistics, thehandbook speaks highly of the contributions made by the Centre forEcolinguistics of SCAU, which organized the first international conference onecolinguistics in China (Page 6 and Page 437).
