 专家简介：

Professor Tom Bartlett is Reader in Functional and Applied Linguistics at the University of Glasgow and Honorary Professor of Language and Communication Research at Cardiff University. His main research areas are Systemic Functional Linguistics, Critical Discourse Analysis and the Discourses of Development and Sustainability.

He is the Convenor of the MSc in Applied Linguistics at the University of Glasgow.

His recent publications include The Routledge Handbook of Systemic Functional Linguistics (2017; with Gerard O’Grady); Rethinking (context of) culture in Systemic Functional Linguistics.(in Akila Baklouti and Lise Fontaine (Eds) Perspectives from Systemic Functional Linguistics Routledge, 2018); Analysing Power in Language: A Practical Guide (Routledge, 2014); Hybrid Voice and Collaborative Change: Contextualising Positive Discourse Analysis (Routledge, 2012), and Positive Discourse Analysis (in John Richardson and John Flowerdew (Eds) The Routledge Handbook of Critical Discourse Analysis.  London and New York:  Routledge, 2018).

He has a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Edinburgh University (2003), an MSc in Applied Linguistics from Edinburgh, an MA in Latin American Studies from the University of London, and a BA in English Language and Mediaeval Literature from Durham University.
